Hi there,
I'm working on a project where we need to develop and test a small tool for detecting retro-transposition events.
Now, we whish to test it on a simulated genome where we would model such events and have a ground truth for their benchmark; is there an application out there that can do so?
With a very quick search I could find the following: simuG, but it seems to be limited to only more conventional genetic features to be simulated.
Please, let me know about potential alternatives or, if you think it's better, alternatives to achieve so. Thanks in advance!
