I have recently graduated from my High School and currently preparing for some competitive exams from India. I want to pursue a Bachelors in Science in Bioinformatics or Biotechnology. Can someone tell me what is the scope of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology other than Research? I studied Biology as my core subject in Science and not Mathematics, what are the opportunities for students like me having Biology as their subject? As a bioinformatician what would my daily job routine look like and what is the average salary that I can get and do you enjoy your job? What are the skills that are required to be competitive in this field?
