Despite some doubts and constructive criticism, there was a rather overwhelming consensus that Biostar should have moved to the Stack Exchange network.
Why didn't it happen? What went wrong?
Are there any plans to switch in the future?
I'm pretty sure I remember Istvan putting out another post out after the ones you linked explaining why we weren't moving. It was both convincing and as captain of the ship it's his call anyway.
To quote Captain Malcolm Reynolds, "We don't vote on my ship because my ship is not the rutting town hall."

That was... an interesting read. I didn't know it was basically Istvan's call, I (wrongly) assumed there had been a change of mind from the whole community due to some restrictions from SE.
Yeah, that's what I was trying to remember.
