Gencode Changelog ?

Hi,

Is there a ChangeLog between GENCODE versions ? just to know which gene and/or transcript are removed/added.

Hi Nicolas. We don't produce a ChangeLog file. Are you looking for any particular data?

Not specifically but I just wonder how many genes/transcript were removed/add between each version.

We don't have that, I'm afraid. You can see how the numbers changed between the releases, but it won't tell you how many are lost and how many are gained, just the net change. Alternatively you can parse the GTF files between the releases, and get the data that way.
