edgeR not available for Mavericks and R 3.1

I just now tried to download and install edgeR in RStudio using R 3.1 but got these error message:

'Mavericks' binary packages not yet available (approximate availability: end of
April, 2014); use R built for Snow Leopard.
package 'edgeR' is not available (for R version 3.1.0)

It;s now almost the end of April -- Does anyone know when edgeR wil be available for R 3.1 on Mavericks?

The path of least resistance is to just install the snow leopard version of R on your Mavericks machine -- is there a particular reason you need the Mavericks version of R? Brian Ripley outlines "the state of things" with respect to Mavericks vs Snow Leapards builds in this R-sig-mac post here.

In short, there is no real advantage to installing the Mavericks version right now unless you depend on writing (or using packages that leverage) C++11 (which, at this point, there are only a small handfull).

I believe the bioconductor folks are still in the process of purchasing and setting up machines to run Mavericks builds. The best place to keep track of when this is completed is the bioconductor mailing list, so subscribing to that would be a good idea.
