I am currently a PhD student of Human Genetics with Genetics and Regenerative Medicine Research Centre (GRMRC) of the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Malaysian Genome Institute (MGI). My work in basic and translational research is focused on developing targeted therapy for human bladder cancer using high-throughput sequencing technologies. My PhD work is focused primarily in deciphering the genetic components that regulate the molecular pathways and networks underlying the development of persistent infection in bladder cancer. I am also contracted to the Nigerian Bioinformatics and Genomics Networks (NBGN) and Science Communication Hub Nigeria as Bioinformatics Coordinator.
