This is the official account for the Gene Ontology resource on Biostars.  We're happy to help where we can- mainly with clarifying what the GO is (or, is not) and how to use it, including any questions about the GO products (annotations, ontology, tools).  Please be aware that questions about how an "external software package deals with X", etc. will be better answered by the developers of that package/tool.
