Hi all,

I am working on a new reference genome and I would like to draw a gene density plot, to visualize the amount of genes per chromosome. I already did the coverage and GC plot, calculating these two values in 100kb sliding windows. However, I am not finding the way of doing that with the gene density. I have an annotation file with the genes and their coordinates, but how can I convert that to a file with number of genes in an specific sliding windows?
